Flip Broadband is one of the new breed of NZ broadband providers. Flip Broadband say that they do the same thing differently giving you cheap and reliable broadband plans whilst looking to keep the other NZ broadband providers on their toes.
Flip Broadband provide only a few different broadband plans as they like to keep things simple.
Flip Broadband don't yet offer Flip Ultrafast Fibre Broadband but they do have different broadband plans with different data limits and variable speeds. Flip offer all different types of broadband connection, Flip Fast Broadband or Flip Very Fast Broadband - even the broadband plan names are simple at Flip internet.
Flip Broadband also offer two great value adds. You can get FREE NATIONAL CALLING for one hour at a time which then costs 20c p/min after that... or just hang up before the hour is up to avoid paying the per minute charge. Or you can select FREE 60 CARRY OVER MINUTES. The carry over minutes don't expire for a whole year and can be used to call 85 destinations including New Zealand mobile phone numbers.

Flip Internet provides broadband internet just like the big telcos, except at Flip Internet the big difference is they give it to you with no contracts, carry over data and leading online support.
Flip broadband focus their customer service and broadband support around their online system. To keep costs low and simple, Flip broadband have invested a lot of time making sure everything is at your fingertips in their online support system. Flip Internet only provide phone support for Technical Issues – 10am to 7pm, every day of the week.

Been on a 12 months contract and cancelled, charged for a termination fee even with confirmation with their support team. Never use this company again.

Has worked well since I switched to Flip few months ago.
Great customer support!
Ran out of data mid-billing cycle so I wanted to goto unlimited package. They gave away free 45GB to get me through this billing cycle so I could change to unlimited from next cycle.
None so far.

At first everything was good...in the last 3 to 4 months,the internet started disconnecting frequently every 10 minutes. I contacted the customer service.They said they could only see it only disconnected once that day which I believe is a lie. Any way I felt so unsafe when I did my assignment for my post graduation. Can't go any further with this connection, so getting a new one.
Great features...and reasonable price....
Customer service could be better and helpful...

ADSL is ok but for $82.45pm is very high for the speed/reliability which are JUST OK
no contract but that's every provider these days

Wanted fibre and they don't offer it, otherwise would have stayed with FLIP
only have online support which is very responsive, but sometimes it would have been good to have spoken with a real person

The only thing going for Flip in todays environment is that no contract is required on joining. The broadband simple speed varies especially in the mornings otherwise not too bad. In my opinion there are mush better deals about offering fibre speeds.
Good contact support

Had serious connection issues for 3-6 months. Due to Flip being a virtual, ie. no physical technicians to resolve any issues more serious than a turn off reset

Poor service have to start from scratch every time.....do not want to hear have you tried redteting your modem or have you tried plugging your laptop directly to your modem ever again
