I have been renting and not had a Broadband provider myself for the last six months. I was with Vodafone primarily because my options were limited in the rural location I came from and my mobile is with Vodafone.

Pros:

They have an 'always connected' service that I found very useful. While you are waiting for a connection, they provide free unlimited mobile data.

Cons:

Call wait times to Customer Service has always been an issue.

Vodafone boardband was no longer working for me they cut me of when I had paid them and ask for more money to get put back on

We have found unlimited fibre for the same price as the VDSL plan we were on.

Cons:

Vodafone speed was erratic and dropped away for no apparent reason.

I haven't needed any support as yet so can't comment.
I don't need or use extra features of any consequence apart from the landline - No problems there.
Don't know about value as this is the first time I have seen comparisons for my address.

Pros:

Vodafone was my existing provider, so no dramas with switching to UFB and only $1/month change in monthly bill.

Cons:

Chorus haven't been to remove the old copper wire connection

Main complaint about Vodafone is that if there is a problem it takes forever to get support on the phone

Pros:

Cable is the best and fastest available connection in my area pending the eventual roll out of fibre

Cons:

Clunky support

Not worth it. Nothing but problems on my end when takes them 3 weeks to sort out

Cons:

Always disconnecting but even worse is the support. Make me wait 15mins then say they still haven't sorted it can I hold 10 minutes. I told them to call me back but nope no phone call. This isn't the only time with bad connection and bad service. I will change to spark ...read more

I only switched as they did not provide a plan with speeds of more than 200 Mbps in my area
