Vodafone Internet TV is here

“It’s a brand new way to control Kiwis favourite content and get the TV experience like never before.”

Vodafone managed to combine SKY TV, free-to-air as well as online streaming services like Netflix together in an easy to use the online system.

You can switch seamlessly from your smartphone, tablet and television in this new age of mobility. Stop watching a TV programme at home, and resume where you left off from your mobile device on the go (available for select programmes).

The service is delivered to Kiwis over fibre and Vodafone’s FibreX network as a cloud-based 4K television. There’s a new feature available now, which is called “catch-up” functionality. The content is now delivered straight from the cloud, so Vodafone you can the shows they’ve missed over the last couple of days, even if you’ve haven’t set up a recording.

Vodafone Chief Executive Russell Stanners said, "Television is how most of us relax, but for many people, an average night’s viewing now involves mucking around with different devices, apps and remotes. Vodafone TV simplifies everything for the customer by delivering a fantastic range of local and international content, all in one place and with simple features to make viewing easy."

You can sign up to a Vodafone TV package, which will include both: the unlimited broadband and SKY Basic. As always, at Broadband Compare you can search for the best Vodafone internet plans.

On top of the unlimited broadband and SKY Basic, the Vodafone TV packages will get all free-to-air channels, including Television 33, TVNZ 1 and TVNZ 2, THREE, Bravo, Maori Television - Netflix subscription, easier access to TVNZ OnDemand, ThreeNow, YouTube, iHeartRadio and Love Nature 4K. The detailed plan and pricing details will be announced soon.

Vodafone looks into expanding content channels in the future. The evolving functionality is going to make the Vodafone experience even more user-friendly for customers.
